Somewhere between the chaos and the music, strangers became friends. A scene became a community. People we once watched from the crowd stepped into a world we had built.

The most important thing these nights gave me wasn't a crowd. It was a future I wanted to be part of.

But something can save you and still ask too much of you. The night people saw was the last few hours of months of bookings, travel, production, security, and responsibility. As the scene grew, the cost of putting it on grew faster.

After two years, I am stepping back from running HCG. The events continue in new hands; I stay as a resident. The focus, energy, and commitment I gave HCG now go into my work as EDGERUNNER.
